All these wonderful hill stations are popular for amazing ambiance and they suggest wonderful vision of the extended plains placed below. Darjeeling and Gangtok are equally famous for stunning and peaceful monasteries, tea gardens and orchards. It is an ideal place for all the tourists who want to be really close to nature and be in the peaceful surroundings. The trip to Darjeeling offers large number of activities from leisure walk to the more exhausting adventurous activities like trekking, river rafting and other many other things. After taking the Darjeeling, Gangtok, Kalimpong tour, you will surely take home some of the most wonderful memories home.

Upon arriving, our representative will meet and greet you and then take you to Gangtok. Enjoy the ride as you pass through lush green hills, tea gardens and the views of the massive snow-capped Himalaya Mountain as you approach Sikkim. On reaching, check-in at accommodation. Refresh and at your leisure for the day. We recommend you to take a stroll on the MG Marg in the evening as it a popular street and you can pick up souvenirs.

Today, after an early breakfast around 8:00am, drive to Tsongmo lake which is about 3hrs drive located at an altitude of 3753m (12300ft). The scenic Tsongmo lake is 1 Km long and is considered sacred by the local people.

Bit further and higher in altitude at about 13,200ft, we will reach the Baba Mandir ( This place is only allowed for Indian Nationals). This place is dedicated to Baba Harbhajan. He was an army officer who is revered as the hero of Nathula. He died by drowning in a stream nearby and it is assumed that his spirit still guards the area.

Later, return back to your accommodation in Gangtok.

After breakfast, the first part of the day will be around Gangtok visiting – Tashi Viewpoint, Ganesg Tok and Hanuman Tok, Bakthang Waterfalls and Enchey Monastery.

Later, drive to Kalimpong and check-in at accommodation upon reaching. Spend rest of the evening at leisure.

Overnight stay at Kalimpong.

After breakfast, explore around Kalimpong.

Visit Deolo Hill – Highest point in Kalimpong, Durbin Dara hill.

Visit Jang Dong Palriffo Brang Monastery and Pine view Cactus Nursery.

Later, drive to Darjeeling and check-in at accommodation. Spend the rest of the evening relaxing.

After breakfast, explore around Darjeeling. Start the day by getting up very early around 4am and drive to Tiger hill to watch the stunning Sunrise over the Mt. Kanchendzonga peak (8586m) –Third highest peak in the world. On your way back, visit the Ghoom monastery and Batasia Loop.

Ghoom Monastery: The Ghoom or Yiga Choeling Monastery is the biggest in Ghoom and houses and idol of the Maitreya Buddha. It also preserves the rare handwritten Buddhist manuscripts.

Batasia Loop: The Batasia Loop is the point where the trail of the toy train winds itself over a hilltop before disappearing through a tunnel.

Return back for breakfast and then post BF, visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park and Tenzing Rock, Japanese Temple and the peace Pagoda.

In the evening, head to the Mall road  and Chowrasta for a stroll. Check for souvenirs.

  • A deposit of 50% of the total amount of the booking must be paid either by bank transfer or credit card within 7 days of the issuance of the booking confirmation. If the payment is not received within this time, the booking may be cancelled without notice.
  • The remaining outstanding 50% balance is to be paid 30 days prior the departure of the tour by bank transfer or credit card payment.
  • A delay in the payment of the balance may result in the cancellation of the booking and the company is not responsible for any charges incurred.
  • 25% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees if cancellations are made 30 days before the start of the trip.
  • 50% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees if cancellations are made between 15-30 days before the start of the trip.
  • No refund i.e., 100% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees if cancellations are made 0-14 days before the start of the trip.
  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such circumstances, the operator will try their best to provide an alternative feasible. However, a cash refund will not be applicable for the same.
  • All cancellations are strictly subjected to the cancellation policies mentioned on the website.
  • All traveler including co-traveler must carry 2 passport size photo, 2 copies of valid ID proof along with originals( Voter ID/Passport/ driving License). Travelers are recommended to share soft copies with the tour operator on official WhatsApp/Email at least 3 days prior the trip or when requested. Such Id proof will require for your Inner Line permit application.
  • Carry basic medicine and first-aid to your needs.
  • Liability for change in itinerary due to reasons beyond our control like change in flight and train schedule; cancellations of flight/trains, political disturbances, cause of natural phenomenon, other force majeure, etc. will not be accommodated in the cost.
  • Consumption of alcohols and other intoxicants are at your own cost. We request you to be very minimal with such activities during your trip.
  • The vehicle for sightseeing is available on an itinerary basis only, and will not be on disposal unless some cases of emergencies.
  • Price will vary according to the number of people in the tour.
  • The tour will be taking place through Eco-friendly, exotic local destinations. We kindly do not encourage littering the local sites and campsites.
  • We encourage you to carry water bottle which can be refilled, so that we prevent uses of plastic water bottles which only increases the waste disposal.

To visit Sikkim foreigners must obtain Restricted Area Permit (RAP) previously known as Inner Line Permit from Sikkim Tourism Officers on the strength of valid Indian Visa. The Nationalities of Pakistan, Bangladesh, China, Maymmar and Nigeria will not be issued Permit without the prior approval of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi.

Protected Area Permit (PAP) for various places in Sikkim are issued as follows:-
  1. East District:-
    1. Tsongo – Baba Mandir – permit are issued by Police Check Post for Domestic Tourist. Foreign tourist are allowed till Tsongo Lake, permit is issued by Tourism & Civil Aviation Department and Police check post.
    2. Nathula Pass – Permit is issued by Tourism Department and Police Check Post for domestic tourist.
  2. West District:-
    1. Dzongri Trek – Permit is issued by Adventure Cell of Tourism & Civil Aviation Department, Govt. of Sikkim
    2. Singalila Trek – Permit is issued by Adventure cell of Tourism & Civil Aviation Department, Govt. of Sikkim
  3. North District:-
    1. Yumthang – Permit is issued by Police check post for Domestic Tourist and for foreigners permit is issued by Tourism Department and Police Check Post
    2. Yumesamdong – Permit is issued by Police check post for Domestic Tourist and for foreigners permit is issued by Tourism Department and Police Check Post
    3. Thangu-Chopta Valley – Permit is issued by Police Check post for Domestic Tourist and for Foreigners permit is issued by Tourism Department and Police check post. Foreigners must apply through a Sikkim Tourism registered Travel Agent in groups of two people or more for visiting these areas.
    4. Gurudongmar – Permit is issued by Police check post for domestic tourist and for foreigners permit is issued by Tourism Department till Thangu.
    5. Green Lake Trekking Permit is issued by Tourism Department after obtaining a valid permit from Ministry of Home Department, New Delhi.
  4. South District:-
    1. Restricted Area Permit is a valid permit for trekking anywhere in the South District for Foreign Tourist.
    2. Alpine Mountaineering Expedition permit is issued by Tourism Department after obtaining valid permit from Home Department , Government of Sikkim , Gangtok, for the following peaks as per the Home Department Notification no: 25/Home/2006 dated 20/3/2006

    1. National park and Wildlife Sanctuary entry permits is issued by Forest Department at Gangtok.
Foreigners Entry Formalities

Foreigners must obtain Inner Line Permit (ILP) to visit Sikkim. These can be obtained from all Indian Missions, Sikkim Tourism Offices at New Delhi, Kolkata, District Magistrates Office of Darjeeling, Siliguri, and Rangpo on the strength of an Indian Visa. The 30 days duration Permit is issued on the spot without any delay provided photocopies of the passport and visa along with two pass port photos of the applicants are made available. The permissible duration of the stay for foreign tourists is 30 days initially.

The State Government is authorized to extend the same by a further period of 30 days. The extension of the permit can be obtained from FRO at Gangtok and office of Superintendent of Police of the North,West and South Districts.

For those interested in going for trekking in the interior region of the state, the Tourism and Civil Aviation issues Protected Area Permit (PAP) at Gangtok which is available for certain specified area for groups consisting of two or more foreigners subject to condition that the trekking programme is arranged through a registered travel agency.
