Note: The following tour itinerary is based on standard accommodation for 8 pax and of age 12-year-old and above. Itinerary can be customized to your needs and schedule! Kindly contact us for more than 8 pax and of age below 12-year-old. For guest whose accommodation requires above standard level accommodation -Deluxe/Premium/Luxury. Deluxe is basic standard one. Arrive from Delhi to Leh airport [ KBA- Kushok Bakula airport]. Meet and greet by our representative and transfer to the accommodation. After a short briefing and check-in formalities, the day is mandatory to rest and acclimatize to the high altitude of Ladakh. Leh is at an altitude of 3500m (11562ft) above sea level. Evenings can leisure around on the streets in Leh market and enjoy the local sites and the view of the snow clad mighty Himalaya.

Leh: Leh town, Ladakh union territory, northern India. The town is located in the valley of the upper Indus River at an elevation of 11,550 feet (3,520 metres), surrounded by the towering peaks of the Ladakh Range (a southeastern extension of the Karakoram Range). Leh is in one of the most remote areas of the Indian-administered portion of the the Kashmir region and is one of the highest permanently inhabited towns in the world. It was built as a terminus for caravans from Asia. Today Leh is reached only by one main highway, the Treaty Road, which connects it to Srinagar to the west and to Dêmqog, Tibet (in a Chinese-administered part of Kashmir), to the southeast. The economy relies mainly on trade, but fruit growing and other agriculture are also important. An old palace of the kings of Ladakh and the Sankar monastery overlook the town.

After breakfast, drive to Uleytokpo/ or Tingmosgam. Enroute visit Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, Sangam (Confluence of the Indus and the Zanskar river), visit Likir monastery.

Post lunch can visit Mangue monastery

After breakfast, drive to Lamayuru. (1hr15mins). En route visiting moon landscape. Visit Lamayuru monastery.

Lunch in Lamaryuru. Post lunch, drive back to LEH (3hrs approx). Enroute visit Alchi monastery(1hr30mins).

Meal Plan: Breakfast only.

Post an early breakfast around  08:00AM, road journey to Nubra valley starts via Khardungla pass at an altitude of 5602m (18390ft). Can stop for a short break and see the Khardungla top. Upon arrival Nubra valley, check-in to accommodation (Camp/hotel/resort).

Post lunch, enjoy a Camel safari on the double-humped Bactrian camel which are found only in Ladakh and Mongolia. Evening at leisure around the village.

After an early breakfast around 8AM, drive to Indus valley towards Leh. En route visit Diskit monastery – a 515 year old monastery situated on the hill top facing the entire valley. Reach Indus valley.

Later post lunch, can visit Shey or Thiksey monastery.

Stay overnight @ Indus valley.

After breakfast, get set for a full day trip around Indus valley.  Visit Hemis monastery (50mins) and Chemrey (30mins from Hemis). Reach Mathoo (50mins from Chemrey).

Post lunch, visit Mathoo museum.

Back to Indus valley accommodation and stay overnight at accommodation.

PangongTso: After an early morning breakfast, around 08:00AM, we depart for Pangong lake which is at an altitude of 4400m (14436ft) via Changla pass-5486m ( 17998ft). The long ascend will take you to Changla pass and its winding road passing through Sakti village. You will Durbuk and Tangtse villages in the changthang region inLadakh, treating your eyes to all its raw scenic Himalayan beauty around you. After passing through few villages in the Changthang region, finally you will come to the view of the turquoise Pangonglake.

Lunch at accommodation.

Rest of the day, enjoy the scenic beauty of the Pangong view and surrounding.

Tso Moriri  Lake:  Tso Moririis a lake in the Changthang region in Ladakh. The lake and surrounding area are protected as the Tso Moriri  Wetland conservation Reserve. Situated at an altitude of 4522m(14835ft) near a small village called Korzok. Korzok village is amongst the highest village in the world nd the highest settlement in India. Near the lake is also the breeding ground for numerous avifauna species. Tso Moriri attracts a range of wildlife, including migratory birds, marmots and rarely the Tibetan wolves.

Visit the village and the Drukpa Buddhist Korzok monastery.

After an early breakfast, drive to Leh via Tso Kar lake. En route stop by and visit Puga Geo-thermal gas spring. Visit Stakna or other nearby monastery.

Today will be a day exploring around Leh.  After   breakfast, visit Spituk monastery- a 5th century old monastery. Visit Hall of Fame (for Indians), Shanti stupa, Leh palace.

All bookings are handled by The Exotic odyssey. In order to confirm the tour booking –

  • A deposit of 50% of the total amount of the booking must be paid either by bank transfer or credit card within 7 days of the issuance of the booking confirmation. If the payment is not received within this time, the booking may be cancelled without notice.
  • The remaining outstanding 50% balance is to be paid 30 days prior the departure of the tour by bank transfer or credit card payment.
  • A delay in the payment of the balance may result in the cancellation of the booking and the company is not responsible for any charges incurred.
  • 25% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees if cancellations are made 30 days before the start of the trip.
  • 50% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees if cancellations are made between 15-30 days before the start of the trip.
  • No refund i.e., 100% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees if cancellations are made 0-15 days before the start of the trip.
  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such circumstances, the operator will try their best to provide an alternative feasible. However, a cash refund will not be applicable for the same.
  • All cancellations are strictly subjected to the cancellation policies mentioned on the website.
  • The guest must carry photo identification like Passport, Voter ID Card or Driving License IN ORIGINAL at the point of check in at the hotel and for Inner line permits
  • The Exotic Odyssey does NOT have any HIDDEN CHARGES.
  • If someone asks for extra money during the journey, Please inform us. We will not be responsible if you pay the amount without our knowledge and consent.
  • Booking will be confirmed only after receiving the advance payment.
  • There is no star category hotel available in all places. However, we provide the best possible option as per your tour category.
  • Credit Cards / Traveler’s check are not freely accepted in many places.
  • We advise you to check the temperature/weather of the places you are going to visit, and bring necessary clothes accordingly.
  • Woollen clothes, Jacket, Raincoat/Umbrella etc. are advisable to carry according to weather conditions.
  • Any extra breakfast for kids which is not mentioned has to be paid directly by guest as per the hotel policy.
  • The normal check-in time for a hotel is 12 PM, and normal check-out time for a hotel is 11 AM. However, this is subjected to change as per the hotel policies. The timing of meals and/or inclusions of a certain hotel room are as per the hotel policies.
  • Liability for change in itinerary due to reasons beyond our control like change in flight and train schedule; cancellations of flight/trains, political disturbances, cause of natural phenomenon, other force majeure, etc. will not be accommodated in the cost.
  • Consumption of alcohols and other intoxicants are at your own cost. We request you to be very minimal with such activities during your trip.
  • The vehicle for sightseeing is available on an itinerary basis only, and will not be on disposal unless some cases of emergencies.
  • Price will vary according to the number of people in the tour.
  • The tour will be taking place through Eco-friendly, exotic local destinations. We kindly do not encourage littering the local sites and campsites.
  • We encourage you to carry water bottle which can be refilled, so that we prevent uses of plastic water bottles which only increases the waste disposal.
  • Kindly conduct courtesy and respect towards cultures and traditions at all the destinations you visit.
  • We encourage you to always be a responsible traveler wherever you go.
  • The Exotic Odyssey is not responsible for acts of God or force majeure events, sanitation problems, lack of medical care, weather conditions, strikes and other labor activities, acts of terrorism, acts of war (declared or undeclared), quarantines, embargoes, blockades, criminal activities or any other act or event beyond the direct control of The Exotic Odyssey; and, not responsible for the additional costs for stay and/or meal and/or other expenses incurred by the consequence of such unfortunate events.

Travelers require Inner line permits to visit the restricted areas like Pangong Lake and Nubra Valley.
Permits will be arranged by us from the District magistrate’s office for which we require the original photo ID proof (passport, driving license or Election ID).
The permit costs include Red Cross society, Wildlife fee and Environmental fee.

The District Magistrate office Leh is not authorised to issue permits to the nationalities of Bangladesh, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, People’s Republic of China, Taiwan, Afghanistan and people holding Diplomatic and official passport and visa. These Nationalities and Diplomatic/ Official passport holders can get permit issued from the Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi through respective Embassies.
