Upon arriving at NJP railway station/ Bagdogra airport, our representative will meet and greet you. Drive to Gangtok, capital of Sikkim.

Check-In at accommodation. Rest of the day is leisure on your own, which you can explore the famous MG Marg in Gangtok.

Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Meals: Nil.

After our breakfast we will proceed for local sightseeing in or around Gangtok including Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok. These viewpoints offering panoramic view of snow capped Himalayan peaks & Gangtok city. Proceed to visit Rumtek Monastery/ Jhakri Falls , Institute of Tibetology to have a glance of Tibetan antics, Orchid House ( Collection of Himalayan orchids), Enchay Monastery ,Dodurl Chorten etc. In the evening visit to M G Marg, the busy market of Gangtok, for shopping and having Sikkimese delicacy at the local restaurant. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

After breakfast, today you will be exploring in and around Gangtok.

Visit the glacial lake of Tsongmo at the height of 3780m, 40Km from Gangtok. This lake is home to the famous Brahminy Ducks and also a good number of migratory birds.

About 17Km away from the lake is the famous shrine of Baba Harbhajan singh. Also called Baba Mandir.

If you wish, an optional tour to Nathula Pass can also be arranged for at an extra cost. You can soak in the serene beauty and can also take a ride on colourfully ornamented yaks and ponies here.

Later back to Gangtok and overnight stay.

This morning after breakfast, drive to Lachen via Chungthang (is on the confluence of Lachen and Lachung rivers), a village surrounded by snow-capped peaks and beautiful alpine meadows. This is a picturesque hamlet on the higher Himalaya famous for its proximity to the Kanchenjunga National Park.

Lunch on the way. Check-In at accommodation.

Dinner and overnight stay in Lachen.

Start early this morning around 4am. Breakfast at Thangu village or at Yithang valley , then proceed through the Kanchenjunga National Park, to Gurudongmar Lake (Only Indians are allowed to visit this place).

Gurudongmar Lake: It takes about 4hrs to reach the lake. Only Indians are allowed and require Protected area Permit (PAP). It’s better to leave early at 4 or 4:30am for Gurudongmar lake as the Indian army closed the lake at 11:30am due to possible avalanches. Have tea and maggie break at Yithang valley on the way.

What to know: Carry wollen clothes and to avoid altitude sickness, you must carry medicines, inhaler, oxygen spray, chocolates, popcorns and lots of water to drink.

Aftervisit, return to Lachen. Post lunch, transfer to Lachung. En route visit confluence of Lachen Chu and Lachung Chu at Chungthang.

Overnight stay and dinner at Lachung.

Early morning after breakfast, visit Yumthang Valley (Known as the valley of flowers). Yumthang is the summer grazing ground of the yaks and winter playground of the yetis.

On the way back, visit the Hot Spring- considered to have medicinal properties.

Back to accommodation and have lunch and then transfer to Gangtok.

Dinner and overnight stay in Gangtok.

After breakfast, transfer from Gangtok to Darjeeling. En route, experience the beautiful view of the lush green valley.

Arrive at Darjeeling. Check-in at accommodation and evening at leisure on your own to go around the Mall road for some shopping and experiencing local cuisine.

Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Get up early in the morning and just freshen up yourself (literally at 4:00 AM) visit tiger hill. The spectacular sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga can only be enjoyed at the dawn.

On your way back to hotel, another prominent attraction to visit in the early hours of day is Ghoom monastery and Batasia Loop. Post these visits, head back to your hotel for a sumptuous breakfast. The rest of the half day is dedicated to cover other attractions of Darjeeling which includes Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday close) , Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Ava Art Gallery and Japanese Temple (4 hrs from 9.00 to 13.00 hrs).

Overnight stay in Darjeeling

We start very early morning, drive to NJP railway station/Bagdogra airport. En route, stop for breakfast.

After breakfast, continue journey.

Reach departure destination.

All bookings are handled by The Exotic odyssey. In order to confirm the tour booking –

  • A deposit of 50% of the total amount of the booking must be paid either by bank transfer or credit card within 7 days of the issuance of the booking confirmation. If the payment is not received within this time, the booking may be cancelled without notice.
  • The remaining outstanding 50% balance is to be paid 30 days prior the departure of the tour by bank transfer or credit card payment.
  • A delay in the payment of the balance may result in the cancellation of the booking and the company is not responsible for any charges incurred.
  • 25% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees if cancellations are made 30 days before the start of the trip.
  • 50% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees if cancellations are made between 15-30 days before the start of the trip.
  • No refund i.e., 100% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees if cancellations are made 0-14 days before the start of the trip.
  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such circumstances, the operator will try their best to provide an alternative feasible. However, a cash refund will not be applicable for the same.
  • All cancellations are strictly subjected to the cancellation policies mentioned on the website.
  • All traveller including co-traveller must carry 2 passport size photo, 2 copies of valid ID proof along with originals( Voter ID/Passport/ driving License).
  • Travellers are recommended to share soft copies with the tour operator on official WhatsApp/Email at least 3 days prior the trip or when requested. Such Id proof will require for your Inner Line permit application.
  • Carry basic medicine and first-aid to your needs.
  • Liability for change in itinerary due to reasons beyond our control like change in flight and train schedule; cancellations of flight/trains, political disturbances, cause of natural phenomenon, other force majeure, etc. will not be accommodated in the cost.
  • Consumption of alcohols and other intoxicants are at your own cost. We request you to be very minimal with such activities during your trip.
  • The vehicle for sightseeing is available on an itinerary basis only, and will not be on disposal unless some cases of emergencies.
  • Price will vary according to the number of people in the tour.
  • The tour will be taking place through Eco-friendly, exotic local destinations. We kindly do not encourage littering the local sites and campsites.
  • We encourage you to carry water bottle which can be refilled, so that we prevent uses of plastic water bottles which only increases the waste disposal.
  • Kindly conduct courtesy and respect towards cultures and traditions at all the destinations you visit.
